As borders slowly open, Emirates is doing their utmost to ensure their passengers fly safely. That is why Emirates has implemented a comprehensive set of measures at every step of the customer journey to ensure the safety of its customers and employees on the ground and in the air.
Dubai is open
Customers from Emirates’ network can now to travel to Dubai as the city has re-opened for business and leisure visitors with new air travel protocols that safeguard the health and safety of visitors and communities.
Emirates will offer assistance services related to COVID-19 medical and quarantine expenses when you travel with them from 23 July 2020 to 31 October 2020. Assistance is valid for 31 days from the departure of the first flight of your journey till you return to your country of residence (expenses require pre-approval).

In the Airport: During check-in, all passengers will have to walk through a thermal scanner, after which they will receive a hygiene kit encompassing a face mask, gloves, antibacterial wipes and hand sanitiser. At the gates, measures have been taken to ensure social distancing, with stickers on the floor.
On Your Flight: The cabin crew will be in full personal protective equipment throughout the flight. Passengers have to wear a face mask at all times, except while eating and drinking. The lavatories will be disinfected regularly, and flights longer than 1 hour and 30 minutes will have an extra cabin crew member who will be cleaning the lavatories.

Chauffeur Drive Service
From 1 July, Emirates' premium customers can once again enjoy the airline's signature Chauffeur Drive service (CDS).
From 1 July, Emirates' Business Class Lounge in Terminal 3 Concourse B at Dubai International airport is now open with temporarily modified services to maintain strict hygiene levels and to reduce contact.
