Hand Baggage VS Check-In Baggage - aren't they both the same?
Also known as Cabin Baggage, Hand Baggage are typically your smaller bags filled with your more personal items (camera, laptop) that you are allowed to carry onboard the plane with you. You will then stow these hand baggage in either the storage compartment above your seat or place it under the seat in front of you.
On the other hand, Check-In Baggage would be your bulkier and bigger suitcases that you will check-in with the check-in counter before your flight. You will then collect these luggage at the baggage belt at the airport upon your arrival.

Firstly, all infants must be at least 8 days old and travelling with an accompanied adult of at least 18 years of age.
It is not mandatory to purchase a seat for the infant. In this case, the infant must be held on the adult’s lap throughout the flight duration. Do take note that Scoot does not currently allow/ provide bassinets onboard flights.
If you have purchased a seat for your infant, do remember to bring along your own forward facing child safety seats. Babies with reserved seats will then enjoy hand baggage allowance according to their travel Class.
Please read here for more guidelines on approved safety seats, booster seats and harness-type child restraint systems.
When travelling with babies, you are allowed to bring onboard a sufficient quantity of breast milk/ baby food. The combined weight of these food items will be counted towards your corresponding cabin baggage allowance.
