What to do in Stockholm

With around 70 museums in the city there is bound to be at least one that tickles your fancy. They range from the Nobelmuseet which has displays and information on the history of the Nobel Prizes, founded in 1901 by Alfred Nobel, a Swedish chemist, to the Vin & Sprithistorika Museet, charting how various alcoholic drinks are made.

Visit the Djurgarden

The royal Djurgarden boasts the first ever open air museum, and informs visitors about how Swedes lived in times gone by, including a glassblower's cottage where you can see the art in action. There is also an aquarium, various cafes and restaurants, and an escalator going up a hill!

Go to the Nobelmuseet

The Nobelmuseet presents the history of the Nobel Prizes and their recipients. The museum has many different exhibits and even includes interviews with figures like Ernest Hemingway and Martin Luther King.
