Visit the Sapporo Snow Festival

The Sapporo Snow festival is held during one week every February throughout Sapporo. The festival is staged on different sites: Odori Park, Susukino, and Tsudome. The main site, Odori Park, is very centrally located and hosts most of the snow sculptures of this festival. It is recommended to head on over to that site if you would like to experience the Snow Festival in full swing.

Nijo Market

Nijo Market is a public market close to the center of Sapporo. Locals and tourists visit the market to shop for fresh local produce and seafood. The market is open from 7am to 6pm every day of the week. A great way to enjoy the market is to head to the market for breakfast.
