About 100 kilometres from Cagliari, on the west coast of Sardinia, lies the wine town of Anoristano. The coastline in this town is much less touristy than other places in Sardinia. Here you'll also find the Nuraghe Losa, a well-preserved Bronze Age tower. From Oristano, you can pass through to Alghero and Cagliari, depending on the route you want to take.
At the northern tip of Sardinia lies a small island called La Maddalena. A ferry can take you from the big island to La Maddalena in only 20 minutes.
