What airport measures are currently in place for travellers upon arrival in Seoul Incheon?

Those arriving in Seoul will be asked to complete a health declaration whilst onboard the aircraft. When passengers disembark from the plane they will be temperature screened. Those who display a high temperature will then be tested for COVID-19 at the airport. Any passengers who test positive will be transported to a community treatment center or quarantine hospital. Those who test negative will be awarded a Quarantine Certificate and given a hygiene kit. Those who test negative must still adhere to the government's 2-week self-isolation rule. Arrival passengers are required need to submit a Travel Declaration Form which outlines where they have traveled from and their contact details in South Korea. Arrivals passengers are also required to download the government's self-diagnosis mobile app.

What airport measures are currently in place for travellers departing Seoul Incheon?

From the point of arriving at the Departure Hall, all travelling passengers are required to wear a mask. Passengers departing from Seoul Incheon are encouraged to check-in online before arriving at the departure hall, although self-check-in stations are also available at the airport. Passengers are subject to three temperature checks before their flight departure, these are located at check-in, security and before boarding.

Are there any screening or PCR testing facilities available?

Several social distancing practices are in place at the airport. This includes screen partitions, which have been installed in many locations including at check-in and information desks. Floor markings are in use throughout the airport to remind passengers to socially distance, especially in queuing areas, shops and at baggage collection. Large digital displays and PA announcements are also utilised to remind passengers to socially distance, wash their hands, and wear a mask.

Seoul Incheon currently has enhanced cleaning protocols in place in order to protect passengers and employees from the risk of COVID-19.
